Lady Cats continue hot start with 82-56 win over Howard
Keyser, WV-Potomac State scored twice as much as Howard over the first half to open a huge lead it maintained through the second half of an 82-56 blowout win Tuesday in Keyser.
The Catamounts raced out to a 44-22 lead during the first 20 minutes before sailing in the final half to improve to 5-1.
Potomac State will play again when it hosts Dundalk on Thursday at 5 p.m.
Lindsie Linaburg missed a double-double by one rebound, grabbing nine to go along with her 10 points. Jenna McAtee scored a PSC-high 16 points, and Kirsten Raynor finished with 12 points. Chelsea Keyser added 10 points.
The 26-point win is the fourth in a row for the Catamounts, with the closest victory being 71-65 over Southern Maryland.
Lenee Kimbell had seven field goals and was 7 of 11 on free throws to score 22 points in the loss. Gina Booker added 13 points for Howard.
