KEYSER, W.V. — Dundalk missed a layup at the buzzer after rallying from 18 points down in the second half to allow Potomac State to cling to an 85-84 win Thursday evening at Dana G. Lough Gymnasium.

The Catamounts (6-1) led by 13 points (50-37) at halftime and increased that to as many as 18 in the first few minutes. With about 10 minutes remaining, Dundalk found success outside the three-point line and was able to close to within one point, but never took the lead. In the closing seconds, Potomac State missed both ends of a double bonus and the Lions rebounded and got a good at look at a win, but were unable to convert the close shot.

Jenna McAtee led five players in double figures by scoring 16 points, while Antwanye Parks added 15, Leah Hershberger had 14 and Heather Lesniowski wound up with 12. Chelsea Keyser finished with 15 points.

Lindsie Linaburg led the Cats with nine rebounds to go with five points. Kirsten Rayner had seven boards and six points and McAtee had a team-high five assists.

Dundalk finished with two players in the 20s, led by Brianna Beea’s 26 points and Traonna Thomas added 23. Crystal Gladden added 12 points and Trana Ford had 11 more.

PSC is off until Dec. 3 when it hosts Allegany College of Maryland.
