Women’s Basketball: Lady Cats throttle Dubois 72-55

DUBOIS Pa. — The Potomac State Lady Cats ended the opening portion of their season 8-2 after beating Penn State-Dubois 72-55 in their final time out before Winter Break.

Jenna McAtee led the way with 17 points but had five of Potomac State’s six three pointers on the night. Allegany High School graduate Lindsie Linaburg had 10 points with five steals and five rebounds for the Cats even with fouling out.

Potomac State jumped up to early, 12-1 lead and never gave that away, staying in control the whole night and leading by thirteen at the half, 37-24.

Potomac State has a long break before the next contest against Butler on Jan. 11.
