Women’s Basketball: Hoban leads Catamounts past Clark State

MCHENRY, MD — Katie Hoban was a field goal from a double- double, finishing with 11 rebounds to go with eight points during Potomac State’s 80-54 win over Clark State in the David K. Martin Legacy Tournament at Garrett College.

Kenyatta Butler led the Catamounts with 14 points, and Courtney Davis added 12 points. Another Keyser grad, Lexi Carr, finished with nine points, with Elizabeth Mills and Mary Feaster both adding eight points. Davis added five rebounds.

The Catamounts got out to a 21-9 lead after the first quarter and led 41-23 at halftime. The lead swelled to 66-32 by the end of the third.

The Eagles got 12 points from Kayla Hunter and 10 from DaNeisha Bryant.

Potomac State (3-1) plays on Saturday, 4 p.m., when it hosts Jamestown.
