Women’s Basketball: Potomac State turns back Catonsville

KEYSER, W.Va. — Ny’Zhea Green had 22 points and Kenzie Chrisman finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds to lead Potomac State to a 76-65 win over CCBC Catonsville Tuesday afternoon at Dana G. Lough Gymnasium.

Besides Green and Chrisman, Mary Feaster and Olivia Wilson also scored more than 10 points. Feaster made four three-pointers for 15 points total, and Wilson finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. Feaster had five assists, while Samantha Rohrbaugh contributed with eight rebounds, six points and five assists.

The Catamounts (10-5) were up 22-17 by the end of the first and 36-26 at halftime. Catonsville trimmed the lead to 51-43 during the third, and were able to tie the score with just over three minutes remaining before PSC pulled away.

Green scored eight points in the fourth and Wilson added seven points to help the Cats stay in front in the final moments.
