Women's Basketball: Frederick overpowers PSC
KEYSER, W.V. — Potomac State was in a 62-17 hole by halftime of a 56-point loss to Frederick Monday evening at the Lough Gymnasium, 103-47.
Shanika Williams scored a game-high 27 points, Kia Whitley scored 25 points and Jordan Stanhope finished with 19 as the Cougars continued to pull away from the Catamounts. Jasmine Walker added 15 points as four players scored in double
figures in the win.
Potomac State was paced by Alexis Steele and Monique McDonald with eight points each. Jenna MacAtee and Allegany graduate Lindsie Linaburg both added seven points. Morgan Wright had six rebounds, five points and three steals for the Cats, and Rachel Waibogha added six rebounds and four points.
The Cats (4-12) play against Garrett at home on Wednesday, 5 p.m.
