Women's Basketball: Garrett pulls off back-and-forth game over PSC

KEYSER, W.V. — Janice Bartley poured in 27 points to help Garrett escape Potomac State with a 79-77 win Wednesday night.

The Lakers hit 11 three-pointers. Three coming from Bartley and four each from Terra McKenzie and Kailyn Woods.

Potomac State led 40-35 at halftime. Around the eight-minute mark, there were multiple lead changes until Garrett went up by eight. The Catamounts came back and had a two-point attempt to tie it with five seconds left that came up short.

Morgan Wright and Jenna McAtee each had 13 in the loss. Wright and Rachel Waibogha each grabbed 11 rebounds.

McKenzie finished with 23 points. Woods and Shameena Johnson each put in 12 for the Lakers.

Potomac State (4-13) plays Westmoreland Saturday at noon.
