Women's Basketball: Potomac State falls to Hagerstown

KEYSER, W.V. — Potomac State and Hagerstown played consistent from the first half to the second, but, unfortunately for the Catamounts, the Hawks were just a little better in each half to come away with a 69-46 win Wednesday at the Lough Gymnasium.

Hagerstown played its way to a 34-23 edge of Potomac State at halftime and the teams almost repeated the effort in the second half as the Hawks outscored the Cats 35-23.

Alexis Steele’s 12 points was the team-high for Potomac State, which has lost five straight. Morgan Wright scored 10 points and Rachel Raibogha added nine. Steele also led the team with five assists.

Hagerstown had four players score in double figures with Miesha Adams leading the way with 17.

Potomac State (1-6) begins play in the Charm City Classic on Friday at 8 p.m. when it plays Baltimore City.
