Boyce edges PSC in overtime at WPCC tournament

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Jessica Tarr poured in 32 points to lead CCAC Boyce in a 59-55 overtime win against Potomac State in the first round of the WPCC Tournament at Boyce Friday.

Boyce led 27-26 at halftime. They led by as many as seven with 4:00 remaining. The Catamounts came back to force overtime on a buzzer-beater by Heather Lesniowski.

They continued to alternate baskets in the overtime period until Boyce went up by four in the final minute and made their free throws to hold on.

Andrea Keiser scored 11 and Regan Donatelli added 10 for Boyce.

Kirsten Ward had 11 in the loss. Lesniowski finished with 10, as did Morgan Wright and Monique McDonald.

Potomac State (8-16) hosts Allegany College of Maryland Wednesday at 7 p.m.
