Women's Basketball: Potomac State whips Butler

BUTLER, Pa. — Potomac State was in control from the beginning as four players scored in double figures and the Catamounts rolled to a 93-33 victory over Butler County Community College in women’s junior college basketball Wednesday.

Jenna McAtee led Potomac State in scoring with 26 points, while Rachel Waibogha scored 17 points, with 11 rebounds and eight steals. Linsie Linaburg scored 12 points and Alexis Steele scored 11 points and had five assists.

Potomac State led 47-15 at the half, and hit 42 field goals in the game, six of them three-pointers, with McAtee dropping four.

Butler was led by Shelby Johnson who scored 22 points.

Potomac State (5-13) will play today, 5 p.m., at CCAC Allegheny.
