Women’s Lacrosse: Hawks too much for Potomac State

Murfreesboro, NC - Despite a trio of three point performances and winning the draw control category 15-13, Potomac State couldn't find the back of the net and suffered a 20-7 loss to Chowan University.

Lindsey Chamberlain led the stat sheet for PSC with 2 goals, 1 assist, 2 ground balls, 6 draw controls, and 2 caused turnovers. Savannah Chamberlain was almost an exact match with 2 goals, 1 assist, 2 ground balls, and 2 caused turnovers.

Amanda Thomason rounded out the scoring with 3 goals. Kayla Littleton and Morgan Fair each controlled 3 draws of their own, while on the defensive side, Littleton and Whitney Ogle caused three turnovers each. Keeper Jerica Blanding made 6 saves in cage.

The Lady Cats look to bounce back during their final road trip of the season to take on Mohawk Valley CC in Utica, NY on Sunday.

After that, PSC will round out its regular season with two home games on Tuesday April 21st in which they will play for the One Love Foundation, and on April 24th in which they will honor three graduating sophomores.
