Women’s Lacrosse: Catamounts drop final game on southern trip

After trailing by a score of 8-1 half way through the first half, the Potomac State Lady Cats strung together 6 unanswered points to trail by a score of 8-7 heading into the second half. After scoring the first two goals of the second half, the cats would be held to just one more goal to ECU's nine to finish out the game with a final score of 17-10 in ECU's favor.

Lindsey Chamberlain led Potomac State with a huge performance all over the field. Chamberlain finished with 5 points (4 goals, 1 assist), six draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers. With six draw controls on the evening, Chamberlain has now hit 50 so far on the season, still leading the NJCAA. Kayla Littleton finished with a hat-trick and two draw controls of her own.

Savannah Chamberlain finished with two goals, three draw controls, and three ground balls. Amanda Thomason rounded out the scoring with a goal of her own. Morgan Fair stepped up in the midfield with three ground balls and a draw control of her own. Kennadie Brady and Dusti McClemens led the defense with three ground balls each, while Jerica Blanding made ten saves in the cage.

The lady cats return to Region XX action today when they travel to College of Southern MD for a 4PM draw time.
