Keyser, WV- After trailing visiting Mohawk Valley CC(NY) by a score of 5-3 at the half, the Potomac State Women’s Lacrosse team put together a string of goals to overcome the deficit en route to a 10-9 win.

Freshman midfielder Kayla Littleton scored the game winning goal off of a free position shot with 1:49 left in the game to lift the Lady Cats to the thrilling win.

Littleton finished the game with 5 points, (3 goals and 2 assists). Savannah Chamberlain finished with two goals, while Morgan Fair, Dusti McClemens, Katya Pase, Lindsey Chamberlain, and Amanda Thomason each had a goal of their own.

Solid second half defense held MVCC to just four goals. Sophomore Chandrea Cleggett put pressure on the Hawks and forced a turnover that would gain the Cats possession and end the game. Goal keeper Jerica Blanding made 11 saves on the day.
