Women’s Lacrosse: Mohawk Valley downs Potomac State in OT

Keyser, WV- After trailing by 7-5 at the half, Potomac State rallied in the second half to come back and tie the game at 13 after regulation.

However, the Lady Cats could not convert in the final minutes of overtime and suffered a 15-14 loss to Mohawk Valley.

Lindsey Chamberlain led Potomac State with 5 goals. She also finished with 9 draw controls on the day, still leading the NJCAA in that category.

Kayla Littleton finished with a hat-trick and the only goal scored in overtime for PSC.

Savannah Chamberlain had a hat-trick of her own, while Dusti McClemens, Katya Pase, and Whitney Ogle each tallied goals of their own.

Ogle also held strong on the defensive end, with two caused turnovers. Keeper Jerica Blanding had 15 saves in the cage. 

Potomac State drops to 2-4 on the season and will now travel to Myrtle Beach next week to take on College of Charleston (in Charleston, SC) and East Carolina club (in Greenville, NC).

PSC returns home Saturday, April 11th to play visiting Region XX foe Anne Arundel Community College.
