Women's Lacrosse: Catamount drop season finale

KEYSER, W.Va. — Katya Pase had a hat trick and Savannah Chamberlain and Lindsey Chamberlain had two goals each but it wasn’t enough for Potomac State, which lost to West Virginia Wesleyan 24-10 in college women’s lacrosse Friday.

It was the final regularseason game of the inaugural season for Potomac State (6-8).

Kayla Littleon, Amanda Thomason and Kennadie Brady had one goal. Morgan Fair led the team with four draw controls, Shay Gomis and Littleton scooped up three ground balls, and Jerica Blanding made eight saves in the cage.

Potomac State will play in the Region XX Tournament on May 2 at Anne Arundel Community College.The opponent and game time have yet to be determined.
