Keyser, WV- Potomac State Women’s Soccer Coach Mark Sprouse has added a pair of players that will take the field this fall for the Catamounts Women’s Soccer Team.
Hampshire High School’s Brittany Maphis and Kelsey Wolfe, who are coming off a successful season in which they went 15-3 will join a Catamounts squad that went 7-6 last fall.
Sprouse expects both to be impact players this season.
“Brittany was one of the best all-around defenders in the area. I believe there was no stronger kick in the region than Brittany’s,” said Sprouse. “She’ll probably take a lot of our direct and goal kicks. Bittany also brings a good work ethic and love of the game.”
“Kelsey is a good all-around player who will help us back on defense”, said Sprouse. “She gained valuable experience playing a lot at Hampshire and I’m looking forward to coaching her this season.”
