Women’s Soccer: Nappi leads another PSC shutout

TAKOMA PARK, MD — Potomac State earned its sixth consecutive shutout to open the season Wednesday as Alana Nappi stopped both shots the Catamounts defense allowed during a 2-0 win over Washington Adventist.

Hannah Rezutek got the first half goal for PSC by scoring unassisted with 32:55 elapsed. Morgan Turley doubled the lead to two goals when she added an unassisted goal with 43:14 off the clock in the second half.

Nappi’s sixth shutout gives the Cats a 28-0 edge in goal differential.

Potomac State (6-0) attempts to keep the streak alive when it visits Mercyhurst North East Saturday at 11 a.m.
