The Potomac State Women’s Soccer Team recently added three prominent Frankfort High School soccer players for their 2015 campaign. All three were multi-year starters for the Falcons and helped Frankfort to several successful seasons.

Maddie Miller was the Cumberland Times-News Defensive Player of the Year for 2014. She earned numerous honors including First Team All-Area, the Brad Trenter award at Frankfort and female soccer player of the year at Frankfort. “Maddie is a remarkable soccer player, she is one of the best one-on-one defenders this area has produced. Maddie has speed, a strong leg and can keep her head when adversity strikes”, offered Potomac State Head Coach, Mark Sprouse.

Also joining, the Lady Cats is, Brooke Snyder, one of best high school goalkeepers in the area. She was also named to the All-Area team.  “Brooke has very good hands and positioning, she also adds speed at a level that we’ve not seen from a goalkeeper at Potomac State,” said Coach Sprouse.

The other Frankfort standout the women’s soccer team is adding is Kezia Butcher who played midfield for the falcons. Coach Sprouse said, “Kezia was probably one of the most underrated players in the area last year. She was responsible for a large part of Frankfort’s success this past season. She is has good skills, is extremely quick and is always in the right place at the right time. Kezia, has a great attitude and hustles. I think she will be very successful playing at PSC.”

Miller, Snyder and Butcher helped lead Frankfort, one of the top ranked teams in the area to a 12-4-3 record. They join their former Falcon teammate, PSC sophomore Morgan Turley who helped the Catamounts to a 12-5 record in 2014.
