Women’s Soccer: Lady Cats Sign Two from Tussey Mountain

Tussey Mountain Signees

The Potomac State Women’s soccer team signed two Tussey Mountain High School standouts last week. Coach Mark Sprouse, welcomed Kylie Bussard and Hannah Dickson into the fold. Bussard plays midfield and forward and has been one of the scoring leaders and a first team all-star in the Sideling Hill League. “Kylie’s an intense competitor and that’s what we love at Potomac State”, said Catamount Coach, Mark Sprouse. “Her speed and skills are excellent, plus she is fearless. Kylie will make a big impact right away”.

Dickson, also is a midfielder with less plaudits than Bussard, but with plenty of talent. “I’d heard a lot about Kylie, but Hannah really surprised me when I saw her play. She has good skills, knows the game and has a powerful kick. I think she’ll be a good fit with our team.”

Potomac State had a 12-5 record in 2014, but is losing the majority of their starters for the coming season. Bussard and Dickson follow in the footsteps of, Sadie Crooks, another Tussey Mountain star who came to Potomac State and helped lead them to an undefeated season in 2012 and the region championship games in 2011 and 2012.
