Women’s Soccer: Catamounts rout Patrick Henry 11-0

KEYSER, W.Va. — Tessa Mulledy and Kylie Bussard scored two goals and Brittany Maphis had one and assisted on two others as undefeated Potomac State dominated Patrick Henry 11-0  Friday afternoon at Stayman Field.

The Catamounts, 3-0, built a 10-0 lead before halftime.

Rochelle Daniels started the onslaught with an unassisted goal over six minutes after the start.

Mulledy scored her first goal three minutes later unassisted. Bussard and Maphis teamed up to score the next two goals, the first at 19:16 and the second 40 seconds later.

Mulledy’s next goal, at 24:18, was assisted by Savannah Sampson, the first of her two assists.

Forty-three seconds later, Paige Harrison scored unassisted.

Maphis, Brooke Snyder, Kayleigh Arbogast and Kezia Butcher scored the remaining goals of the first half. Snyder’s was unassisted and Penny Summers, Butcher and Brittany McMillion had assists.

McMillion, on an assist from Sampson, scored the only goal of the second half, 59:08.

The Catamounts outshot Patrick Henry, 27-2, and led in corner kicks, 5-0.

Chloe Payne and Dymonet Redman each made one save a half for Potomac State. Patrick Henry’s goalie Vienna Jacobson stopped 16 shots.

Potomac State visits Westmoreland (Pa.) County Community College on Monday at 3 p.m.
