Kayleigh “Pippy” Arbogast and Brittany McMillion of Pocahontas are trading in their high school colors of maroon and gold for the blue and gold of the Potomac State Women’s Soccer Team. The two standouts inked their national letter of intent with the Catamounts at Pocahontas High School. Both are offensive players, usually playing forward or attacking midfield and scored over 40 goals between them for the PCHS Warriors.

The daughter of Shannon Arbogast, the high school coach and his wife Darlene, Arbogast stated, “Coach Sprouse wrote me a letter and asked me to come there and meet him,” Arbogast said. “I did and fell in love with the campus. He’s such a nice coach. I just liked it so much.” Coach Sprouse returned the compliment, “Pippy was the Warrior’s leading scorer last season. She brings a lot soccer skill and knowledge to the table. Pippy is also a leader and outstanding young lady, having her on the team can’t be anything but positive.”

Brittany McMillon the other half of the dynamic duo, is the daughter of Philip and Susan McMillon and will be a criminal justice major. Coach Sprouse commented, “Brittany sent me some information online and I got some video of her and realized she’d be a great fit at Potomac State. Coach Arbogast told me that Brittany is an excellent athlete and can play any position if needed. I love her attitude, she so humble for a girl who scored a lot of goals in her career. McMillion said, “Coach Sprouse got in contact with me,” she said. “I went up there for a visit and fell in love with the campus. I’ve always wanted to play in college, but I never thought it would become a reality until now.”
