Monaca, PA- The Potomac State Women's Soccer Team up their record to 6 -2 with a 9-1 victory over Penn-State Beaver on Saturday. The 9 goal output was the most goals that the Catamounts have scored this season.

Potomac State jumped out to a quick start as they netted four goals in the first ten minutes of play with 8 different players scoring. Midfielder Cori Gregory led the way with two goals scored.

The Lady Cats got one goal each from Larurel Podlesnik, Julia Ludwick, Abigail Altman, Elise Hegwood, Megan Tomkinson, Acasha Smith and Kendra Welker.

The assist register for Potomac State was: Sadey Crooks and Abigail Altman with two apiece and Kendra Welker, Emily Livingston adding one each. Scoring for PSU Beaver was Leah Murphy who put in the last goal of the game on an indirect kick.

PSC goalkeeper Lindsay Stidom had 9 saves and Beaver goalkeeper, Kristen Sutton with 7.

Potomac State plays next on Monday against Christendom at Front Royal Virginia.
