Softball: Potomac State beats Allegany 4-1 on Rogers’ two-hitter

KEYSER, W.Va. — Danica Rogers allowed two hits, one run and struck out six to get the best of Carlie Lewis in a pitchers’ duel as Potomac State advanced past Allegany College 4-1 Friday in the Region XX Tournament at Potomac State.

Rogers allowed one run in the fifth inning when Amanda DuVall singled and came home when Mazy Diehl hit a single of her own. Rogers escaped the inning by leaving the bases full of Trojans.
