East Hardy senior Morgan Mongold signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at Potomac State College of WVU. Mongold plans to major in Business Technology. Mongold led the Cougars to the state tournament three times and finished this year as a first team all-state volleyball player with 618 kills and 350 digs. Mongold joins a five-member recruiting class for the Catamounts.

"Morgan is a good all around player and should be able to contribute on both the offensive and defensive ends of the game. Morgan seems like a player who has good court sense and the physicality to take her game to another level," PSC Volleyball Coach Martha Ganoe remarked. The Catamounts are the back-to-back Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference champions in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II.

Mongold is the first volleyball player to be recruited to PSC from this area. Morgan is joined by her parents Chris and Lisa, sister Raven (top right), EH Volleyball Coach Marsha Hahn (top left), and EH Athletic Director Chad Williams (top middle).
