Volleyball: Potomac State downs Allegany

CUMBERLAND, MD — Potomac State College swept Allegany College of Maryland 25-13, 25-16 and 25-21 Tuesday in junior college volleyball at Allegany College.

Morgan Mongold had 19 points, 15 kills and 17 digs for Potomac State. Kyleigh Stottlemyer had 12 kills and eight digs, Shakayla Ganoe had 37 assists and 10 digs, Autumn Dishman eight points and 12 digs and Erin Amoruso 12 points and 14 digs. Stephanie Cornachia had nine kills.

For Allegany, Mazy Diehl was 20 of 23 on attacks with 10 kills. Briana Swisher had four kills, Sierra Minnick had 11 digs and Taylor Klingerman finished with 16 set assists.

Potomac State (20-9) has concluded its regular season and will compete in this weekend’s Region XX Tournament at Hagerstown.
