Volleyball: Lowery’s night pushes Potomac State past Allegany

CUMBERLAND, MD — Sarah Lowery recorded a triple-double, finishing with 13 digs, 12 kills and 10 points, to lead Potomac State to a sweep of Allegany College in straight sets Monday evening at Bob Kirk Arena.

The Cats opened the night with a 25-12 win, followed that up with a 25-16 score and finished the sweep by winning 25-17.

In addition to Lowery’s effort, Shakayla Ganoe added 31 assists, 14 digs and seven points. Autumn Dishman had 17 digs and seven points, Shayla Hillian recorded 13 kills and seven digs and Anya Murray finished with six points and four kills.

The Catamounts (17-4) will travel to Cecil on Friday.
