Volleyball: Godlove, Gordon lead Potomac State to 3-1 win

SPRINGFIELD, Va. — Bailey Godlove and Ericka Gordon combined for 29 kills and 26 digs in leading Potomac State to a 3-1 win over Northern Virginia and a split of two matches in a tri-match on Friday.

The Catamounts beat Northern Virginia 25-18, 21-25, 25-13, 25-19.

Godlove had 15 kills, three aces, 13 digs and two block assists and Gordon had 14 kills, two aces and 13 digs for the Catamounts.

Hanna Slider dished out 47 assists and also had 14 digs and three block assists, while Kiera Horton had nine kills and four block assists, DeJaha Morris nine kills and 11 digs, Brittney Hozdic seven kills, two solo blocks and one block assist and Viriya Lim 19 digs.

Cats lost to Monroe 25-17, 25-14 and 25-9.

Gordon had seven kills, Slider 12 assists and Viriya Lim eight digs for Potomac State (7-4), which hosts Anne Arundel tonight.
