Potomac State Falls to Butler in Five Sets

Potomac State's Shilo Merritt had six digs, four kills and three blocks in a five set match against Butler at The Lough Gymnasium.

KEYSER, W.Va. - Potomac State and Butler played through five sets with Butler getting the edge between the two Western Pennsylvania College Conference foes Monday evening.

The Catamounts and
Butler went back and fourth with the first game going to Potomac 30-26. Butler took the next 30-20, PSC the third 30-27, with the final two going to Butler
30-21 and 15-4.

Erica Pratt was 13-of-17 for five aces, five kills, three digs and two blocks. Randi Bennett had 13 kills and three digs, Shilo Merritt added six digs, four kills and three blocks, and Nikki Sidaway got a team-high 24 assists and added four digs.

PSC (2-4, 2-3 WPCC) plays Wednesday at
6 p.m. at Beaver Community College.
