Lady Cats end regular season on high note
The Potomac State College volleyball team ended its regular season with a 3-0 victory over CCAC-Boyce on Wednesday evening at Lough Gymnasium in Keyser.
The Lady Catamounts dominated the first set, 30-5, and then cruised to victory with 30-12 and 30-14 victories in the last two sets.
Randi Bennett led PSC 11-for-13 serving with four aces. She was also 14-for-16 on attacks with 12 kills.
Erica Pratt was a perfect 18-for-18 serving with nine aces and 14-for-15 on attacks with seven kills. She also had five digs and a block.
Kate Ritz was a perfect 17-for-17 serving with three aces to go along with two digs, while Nikki Sidaway led the team with 21 assists, three digs and two blocks.
With the win, Potomac State improved to 11-12 overall and 6-9 in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference.
The Lady Catamounts will return to action Monday when they travel to Butler Community College for the first round of the WPCC playoffs.
