Potomac State's Wesley named Volleyball All-American

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Potomac State Freshman Amber Wesley, from Martinsburg, was named as an 2011 Honorable Mention Volleyball All-American by the NJCAA today.

The selections were made by each division's respective volleyball committee over the past week.

Amber Wesley was a member of Martinsburg High Schools final four team before signing up to be a Catamount.

Potomac State ended its season in a five-set thriller against Hagerstown Community College in the Region XX tournament championship match to finish its season at 25-3.

It was the Catamounts' first appearance in the Region XX final.

Wesley was also names to the first-team all Region XX for the season.

The Catamounts won the Pennsylvania College Athletic Association title this year marking the third time in four years that Potomac State has claimed the title.
