Volleyball: Catamounts make it seven in a row

KEYSER, W.Va. — Peyton Smith finished with 23 assists, and Katie Bush added nine kills and eight digs as Potomac State won its seventh straight game by sweeping Penn-Highlands Wednesday evening.

Amber Wesley added 11 kills, while Dakotah Corbin put up eight points with four aces and six kills. Nadia Berhane had eight points and three aces, with Aimee Conley adding nine points.

The Catamounts took the first game 25-15 and the second 25-21 before completing the sweep with a 25-17 victory.

On Monday, PSC swept Garrett 25-11, 25-17 and 25-7 in McHenry.

Wesley had a double-double by collecting 10 points and 10 kills, with Corbin adding nine points and five aces.

PSC (11-5) will play on Saturday in the Tracey Leather Memorial Tournament at Hagerstown College. It faces Montgomery-Rockville at 10 a.m., and Southern Maryland at 2 p.m.
