Intramurals at Potomac State

Recreational activities include hiking, camping, WVU Morgantown’s ropes course and zip line, bowling, Human’s VS Zombies game, campus 5K Fun Run/Walk, climbing wall, obstacle course, etc.

Intramural programs include flag football, kickball, dodgeball, basketball, Ballistic Bowling, open gym, volleyball, softball, badminton, soccer, corn hole, street hockey, ultimate Frisbee and dodge ball.

Recreational and intramural activities are for all members of the campus community and are open to males and females.

We are all “eers” when it comes to suggestions from students about activities and programs. If you have a suggestion or an idea about a program that you would like to see on campus feel free to share them with us.

The Student Recreation Office is located in in the main gym area of the J. Edward Kelley Complex Student Recreation Center. The Student Recreation Coordinator can be contacted by telephone at (304)788-7096 or by email at scottie.samples@mail.wvu.edu.

Student Recreation Center Hours of Operation (August 1-May 31)

Monday through Friday: 8 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Saturday 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. 

Sunday 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

(Students must present Student ID Card to use the facility.)

Turf Field Hours of Operation (August 1-May 31)

Lights are on Sunday through Thursday until 11:00 p.m., except during the winter.

(Open to all students so long as there are no scheduled athletic team practices or games or intramural activities.)
