Farewell from Libby

Dear Alumni and Friends,

It is with mixed emotions that I write to let you know that I will be retiring on July 31, 2015.  I love Potomac State College and have thoroughly enjoyed my 19-plus years working here.  It is a unique institution that entwines one’s soul to the purpose of helping current students as well as those who have graduated or transferred.

LibbyAs I reflect over the years, I have gained friendships that are dear and ones that I will never forget.  Traveling to regional alumni dinners and various events all over the state has been rewarding and quite frankly, just a ton of fun.  Alumni reminisce those PSC days and it is fun to relive that time with them; even though I teasingly tell them that I think their stories get bigger each time they are told.

The caring faculty and staff at Potomac State cannot be beat.  Working together for the good of our students, watching them grow, and seeing them graduate or transfer make our everyday tasks worthwhile.  I will continue working with the Campus and Community Ministry Club and plan to support various events on campus.  I hope you will join me in attending as many events as possible.

I say farewell but our beloved Potomac State College of West Virginia University will forever be in my heart.

All the best to each of you,
Libby Kalbaugh
