Welcome to Potomac State Dining Services!

We are here to help make your life on campus a positive experience by providing nutritious meals in a comfortable, attractive environment. PSC Dining Services promotes positive health choices with a focus on diets based on plenty of plant foods and sensible portions. When combined with moderate exercise, eating for better health is part of an overall healthy lifestyle. We also realize the importance of comfort food and offer the most popular selections at both locations. Take a look at what we have to offer.

Our main campus has two styles of dining options available to meet various needs of campus life. Both are located on the first floor of University Place and are easily accessible to resident hall students, commuters, staff and guests. First is Potomac Commons, which offers a wide variety of foods to choose from and the pleasure of eating as much as you want at each meal. Perhaps you prefer to take food to your room, office, or class? Then Potomac Rapids is your choice. Here all food is packaged to-go and is priced individually. PSC Dining Services also provides food service for Catamount's Children's Center and ATK in Rocket Center, WV at Hilltop Cafe. Visit any of these sites above to view menus for each location.

Potomac Commons

Potomac Commons is open specific time periods for meals as listed below. Access to this area is gained by presenting a valid PSC ID with an active meal plan or by paying the nominal price shown. Cash, Mountie Bounty, and Bonus Bucks are accepted.

Benefits to Parents

PSC/WVU Dining Services is operated with no state fee support. As part of the PSC campus community, we take the care and feeding of your student both seriously and personally. With our dining plans you can be sure your student has access to nutritious, quality food served in a clean, comfortable atmosphere every day. Your student's well being is at the core of our mission. Your dollars are invested in food and food related items only. We encourage you to visit our facilities and see for yourself, the quality and variety we present every day.

Residence Meal Plans

PSC students who live in the residence halls have three meal plans to choose from; a 19-meal plan, a 15-meal plan, or a 10-meal plan. The cost of the 19-meal plan is $1,497 (averages $4.75 per meal) and allows access once to every meal period served. The 15-meal plan is $1,398 (averages 5.61 per meal) and allows access once to every meal period during the weekdays. The 10-meal plan is $1261 (averages $7.56 per meal) and is designed for individuals who may choose to skip breakfast on a regular basis. Both the 15 and 10 plans are only active Monday through Friday and are designed for individuals who regularly go home over the weekends. All plans include $50 in Bonus Bucks that can be used outside of normal meal periods and on weekends at either campus location.  (all the above mentioned prices are representative of the 2007-2008 school year and are subject to change)
