Giving to Potomac State College of WVU

Scholarship Opportunities

For the past few years, Potomac State College of WVU has awarded nearly 70 endowed scholarships to worthy students. However, as the College works to grow its enrollment, it means more students, many of whom are first-generation college-goers, will be seeking financial assistance.

Please consider a generous donation to any of the following scholarships. For further information, contact the Alumni Office at 1-800-262-7332 ext. -6870.

In 1997, the Potomac State College Foundation merged with the West Virginia University Foundation.  This relationship has provided Potomac State College and its donors with many advantages.  For example, previously, a portion of the monies donated to the College were used to cover administrative expenses, now, 100% of all donations received are used for the purpose which the donor intends.  Many other options have also been added so that people can find a way to support Potomac State through outright gifts or planned gifts, including estate gifts or life insurance policies.  We can even accept gifts of appreciated securities, art or real estate.

If you would like additional information on making a gift to Potomac State College please visit the WVU Foundation website by clicking the link below. Each of the options outlined pertain to gifts made to benefit Potomac State College.  You may even choose to give on-line under the section titled giving to WVU.  Just make sure that you indicate your gift is to benefit Potomac State College.

You may also contact Libby Nichols directly at (304) 788-6870 or lmnichols@mail.wvu.edu for additional information on giving to Potomac State College. Thank you for your interest and support!
