Scholarship Opportunities
For the past few years, Potomac State College of WVU has awarded nearly 70 endowed scholarships to worthy students. However, as the College works to grow its enrollment, it means more students, many of whom are first-generation college-goers, will be seeking financial assistance.

In 1997, the Potomac State College Foundation merged with the West Virginia University Foundation. This relationship has provided Potomac State College and its donors with many advantages. For example, previously, a portion of the monies donated to the College were used to cover administrative expenses, now, 100% of all donations received are used for the purpose which the donor intends. Many other options have also been added so that people can find a way to support Potomac State through outright gifts or planned gifts, including estate gifts or life insurance policies. We can even accept gifts of appreciated securities, art or real estate.
