Perhaps you recall Potomac State' s library in the Administration Building or maybe you only ever knew it as the existing Mary Shipper Library, either way you likely associate some story with the library.
Today's libraries are not just about books, but rather they are the technological and social "hub" of campus. In a fraction of a second, you can see any place on earth come alive instead of simply reading it in words. That's why we are working to transform Potomac State' s library into the heart of campus life.
We have a plan that will implement many modern technological and social components for learning and teaching. From quiet reading rooms and a student cafe to e-books and an alumni lobby, just to name a few. Each component fits seamlessly with the next much like the brick pavers that will grace its entrance.
Now you have a chance to leave a lasting mark at a place destined to always be the heart of campus life. We invite you to build history with us by purchasing a brick or brick paver, which will be personally engraved or engraved to honor or memorialize someone you love. This will leave a lasting legacy for all who start their path and success at Potomac State College.
