Objectives:

To provide fair use of the Library to all patrons. both class groups and independent users.

Procedures:

1. Limit Library class visits to five times a semester.  The only exception is the Library Science Class.
2. The staff must have at least a 24-hour notice. Call 788-6901 to schedule all class visits. A librarian must confirm the time. No voice mail messages will be accepted.
   1. A notice on the front door to notify patrons of a class being held in the library is posted.
   2. Due to limited seating and acoustics, only one class may schedule a time slot.
3. Any instruction, both class or individual, must be given prior to entering the library.
   1. The only instruction given aloud will be by the Library's bibliographic instruction staff.
   2. If a room is needed for instruction, the DLC must be scheduled at the same time as the class visit (24-hour notice is mandatory).  For DLC-Distance Learning Center scheduling, call 788-6905.
