New, Returning Students Encouraged to Participate in Welcome Week, Campus Connections Activities

The Dean of Student Affairs, Bill Letrent, encourages all new and returning Potomac State College of WVU students to participate in Welcome Week/Campus Connections activities that begin on Friday, August 19.  

Highlights of this year's enhanced schedule include: 

  • Crash Course 101 for new students and their parents to attend on Friday and Saturday afternoons to learn what they need to know about various campus resources including the library, University Police, residential education, computer connectivity, etc.;

  • a Parent Only Question and Answer session with the Dean of Student Affairs;

  • Self Guided Tours of the Academic Buildings on Sunday afternoon;

     
  • a Keyser Shopping Shuttle;

  • a Community Service Fair for local businesses and organizations to come to campus to welcome the students to the community and to show them what services are available in the community;

  •   a Student Services Fair;

  •   a Health Fair;

  •   PSC Text Alert Registration, and;

  •   a Meet and Greet Picnic celebrating diversity.
