Adult Informational Session Regarding Starting or Returning to College to be Held Aug. 2
Potomac State College of West Virginia University will hold an informational session for adult students who are thinking about starting or returning to college. The event will be held on Tuesday, August 2, in the Office of Enrollment Services which is located at 75 Arnold Street in Keyser.
From 1 to 6 p.m., individuals can meet with admissions representatives to discuss the application process. Financial aid staff will also be available to counsel interested individuals regarding costs and affordability. Academic advisors will assist admitted students with registering for classes. Information on the Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree, which is a flexible bachelor’s degree option for adult students, will also be available.
“If you have been thinking about college, the informational session is a great opportunity to find out more about attending Potomac State. Any adult is welcome to come and get their questions answered about either coming back to or starting college; there is no obligation,” said Beth Little, director of Enrollment Services.
To be admitted to Potomac State, students must provide documentation of high school graduation in the form of an official high school transcript or completion of the GED.
Also, college transcripts are needed if a student has previous college credit.
