Vickie DelSignore, a 26-year employee at
Potomac State College of West Virginia University,
was presented with the 2011 Outstanding Staff
Person of the Year Award by Campus Provost
Kerry Odell.

DelSignore has been described as diligent, conscientious, patient, pleasant, dedicated, and willing to be as helpful as possible.

One co-worker had this to say, “Vickie put in long hours when implementing the University’s new payroll system this past year on the PSC campus. She would often return to the office in the evenings when she could get quiet time because her days were tied up with assisting supervisors who were also learning the new payroll system.”

Another comment made by a different co-worker claims, “Ms. DelSignore has earned the respect of the campus community, including faculty, staff and students.”

DelSignore and her husband, Mark, reside in New Creek, W.Va. and are the parents of Logan, who attends Potomac State, and Rachel, who is in the 10th grade at Keyser High School.

A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a qualifying student for Fall 2011 on behalf of Vickie DelSignore in honor of her recognition as the Outstanding Staff Person of 2011.
