Pritts named to history position at Potomac State
Cassandra Pritts received a full-time, history instructor position at Potomac State College of West Virginia University this fall.
In addition to teaching classes and advising students, Pritts also serves on the Honors Program Committee and the Character Counts Committee.

Prior to this appointment, Pritts served as an adjunct with the College and at Frostburg State University (FSU). Pritts was also employed by the Allegany County Historical Society of Maryland and as a part-time curator of the Queen City Transportation Museum.
Pritts earned her master’s degree in history from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. and her bachelor’s degree in history from FSU in Frostburg, Md. She is a lifetime member of the Phi Alpha Theta, Epsilon-Phi Chapter (History Honor Society) and of the Northern Appalachian Network.
She is the daughter of Bill and Sue Pritts of Cumberland.
