Glen Miller Band to Perform at Church-McKee Arts Center

The world renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra is bringing its big band sound to the region for one show only at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Church-McKee Arts Center on the campus of Potomac State College of West Virginia University. 

Formed in 1956, this group has been touring ever since with over 300 dates each year. 

The second performance in this year’s Highland Arts Unlimited (HAU) season, admission is free to HAU members and Potomac State College students with ID. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for non-PSC students. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paying adult. 

Advance tickets are available at Linda's Hallmark, the Candlewyck Inn, Anderson’s Corner and the Allegany County Arts Council. 

This year’s programs are funded in part by membership contributions, grants from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts of the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, the National Endowment for the Arts, Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation, Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, and financial assistance from Potomac State College, the Mineral County Board of Education, and corporate sponsors.
