Local Students Receive Scholarships from PSC

Potomac State College of West Virginia University is pleased to announce that the following students have received various scholarships from the College.

Colton Shoemaker, a graduate of Keyser High School majoring in electrical engineering, was the recipient of the Chessie Federal Credit Union Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student who is a member or who has family that is a member of the Chessie Federal Credit Union.

 

Austin Mull
Austin Mull

 

 

Austin Mull, a graduate of Frankfort High School majoring in business administration, was the recipient of the John D. Gelwicks Memorial Scholarship. The student receiving this award must be a Mineral County resident.

 

 

 

 

Savannah Elkins, a graduate of Keyser High School majoring in pre-social work, was the recipient of the Raymand E. Dawson Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student who is a graduate of Keyser High School.

Jamison Jones, a graduate of Keyser High School majoring in secondary education, was the recipient of the Mike Landis Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a student who played football and is a graduate of Keyser High School.

Michael Corley and Jacqueline Maphis both received the Johnson Family Scholarship. The recipients of this scholarship must be West Virginia residents. Corley is a graduate of Keyser High School and is majoring in pre-law. Maphis is a graduate of Hampshire High School and is majoring in business technology.
