Potomac State to hold Soccer Summer Camps
Potomac State College of West Virginia University will hold two Summer Soccer Camps for boys and girls from ages six to 17.
The first camp will run from July 10 - 13 and will be held on the PSC campus at Stayman Field. The camp will run from 9 – 11:30 a.m.
The second camp is scheduled for July 17 - 20 and will be held at Southern High School in Oakland, Md. The time for this camp is also from 9 – 11:30 a.m.

The soccer camps will focus on the fundamentals of the game through creative exercises coordinated to keep the players interested while also having fun.
Campers will have the opportunity to develop and fine-tune their skills at every level of the game; goalkeepers will receive individual training. Teams are encouraged to register for the camp.
Campers must provide their own shin guards, cleats, tennis shoes, and a water bottle. The first 70 campers registered at each camp will be provided with a free camp ball.
Head Men’s Soccer Coach Ray Kiddy and Head Women’s Soccer Coach Mark Sprouse are sponsoring the event.
Coach Kiddy holds a National Soccer Coaching License and is in his 34th season of coaching soccer at the collegiate or high school level. The Catamount Men’s Soccer team finished with a winning record of 10-5-1 for the season.
Coach Sprouse is in his 12th season serving as head coach of the Lady Catamounts Soccer team. He has had a winning season six out of the past seven seasons. The Lady Cats posted a winning record of 11-4 this past season.
