Strachan receives PSC Criminal Justice Award
Potomac State College of West Virginia University honored many of their students with awards and recognition during its annual Weekend of Honors this spring. Joshua Strachan, who earned his bachelor of applied science degree with an emphasis in criminal justice this spring, was presented with the Outstanding Senior Criminal Justice (CJ) Award by Associate Professor Andrea Bucklew (left) and Assistant Professor Heidi Samuels. This award is presented annually to a graduating senior in the criminal justice program. In order to be considered for the award, a student must show exceptional academic performance, participate in the CJ Club and volunteer service to the campus and community. Additionally, Strachan served as president of the Student Government Association as well as president of the Sigma Phi Omega Honor Society.
