Mangold receives award from Potomac State
Potomac State College of West Virginia University recently honored many of their students, faculty and staff with awards and recognition during its annual Weekend of Honors. Brooke Mangold, a sophomore pre-physical therapy major and honor student from New Creek, W.Va., was presented with the Powell General Chemistry Award. This award is named for the late Maurice Powell who served for many years as a professor and chairman of the chemistry department. The student receiving this award must have the highest average in both lecture and laboratory for the complete two- semester sequence of chemistry 115 and 116. Professor of Chemistry Henry Falkowski presented the award.
