Taylor receives award from Potomac State
Potomac State College of West Virginia University recently honored many of their students, faculty and staff with awards and recognition during its annual Weekend of Honors. Katlyn Taylor, a sophomore pre-pharmacy major from Cumberland, Md., was presented with the Morris Organic Chemistry Award. This award is named for the late Jasper Morris, a long-time professor of chemistry and physics at the College. The student receiving this award must have the highest average in organic chemistry, both in lecture (CHEM 233 and 234) and laboratory (CHEM 235 and 236), for the two-semester sequence. Professor of Chemistry Henry Falkowski presented the award.
