Glasbrenner accepts Math position at Potomac State

Barbara Glasbrenner has accepted a position at Potomac State College of West Virginia University (WVU) as an instructor in the math department. She will be teaching classes in developmental mathematics and advising students enrolled in general studies.

Before accepting this position, Glasbrenner taught high school mathematics in Hampshire County, W.Va. Prior to that, she worked in Garrett County, Md. as the GEAR UP Math Specialist at Northern High School and as a mathematics teacher at Southern High School.

Glasbrenner earned her master’s degree in secondary education, with an emphasis in mathematics from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md. and her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa.

Glasbrenner is very involved with her community, sports and the arts. She and her husband, David, have two children, Sara and Steven.
