Slivoskey named Physical Education instructor at PSC
Eric Slivoskey has accepted a position at Potomac State College of West Virginia University as a full-time tenure track instructor in physical education. Included in the classes he’s teaching are: conditioning, human body, principles of human movement, intro to physical education, sports in American society, and African Americans in sports. Slivoskey will be advising students as well.
Prior to accepting this appointment, Slivoskey served as a consultant and coach for a new American professional football league in India and also served as the head football coach and offensive coordinator for the Seinajoki Crocodiles, a professional American football team located in Seinajoki, Finland. Slivoskey was also previously employed by Harford County Schools in Perryville, Md. and by Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, N.D. as well.
Slivoskey graduated from San Diego State University in San Diego, Calf. with a profession certificate in personal fitness training. He earned his master’s in physical education and coaching from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md., and was a distinguished honor graduate from the United States Army Academy of Health Sciences.
Slivoskey has had extensive coaching experience, conducted team-building seminars for international companies, was the recipient of the Keystone Conference “Finest 45” award, and was named Upper Midwest Athletic Conference College Football Coach of the Year in 2007.
Slivoskey and his wife, Estalita, are the parents of three children, Kamryn, Kodie and Kaylin.
