Hardy County 9th Graders visit Potomac State
Virginia Kline, Library Assistant, with Potomac State College of West Virginia University’s Mary F. Shipper Library, is pictured talking with ninth-grade students from Hardy County. The students recently toured PSC’s campus in which the library was one of many stops. Kline made students aware of WVInfoDepot.org, a free database made available by the West Virginia Library Commission to all West Virginia residents. Kline explained that this is just one of 27 databases the library makes available to students. The campus visit also informed students about the College’s academic offerings, financial aid opportunities, the Academic Success Center, and residence life. Students also received a complimentary lunch in the cafeteria.
